Feeding Our Community

The Temple Beth El is participating in a Mitzvah Project designed to supply food to our neediest neighbors.

Currently, we are participating in Produce Packing from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Meals on Wheels located at 811 23rd Avenue East.  The Food Bank purchases fresh produce for their meal delivery clients.  The project involves sorting and bagging the produce.  No lifting is required.  If you choose to sit, you can sit. For many people, this is the only fresh food in their diet.  They very much look forward to receiving it.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED.  I HOPE YOU WILL CONSIDER PARTICIPATING IN THIS WORTHWHILE MITZVAH PROJECT.

When you drive into the Food Bank complex, you will see a single-story building to your right.  Enter through the roll-up door.
